The Holy Spirit gave them the courage, wisdom, and supernatural abilities to perform miracles and preach with authority. This event is celebrated by Christians every year as the Feast of Pentecost or the Birthday of the Church.

As punishment for breaking the law, Daniel was thrown into a den of lions. However, God protected Daniel and he was unharmed by the lions. The next morning, Darius rushed to the lion's den to see if Daniel was still alive. To his relief, Daniel emerged from the den unharmed. This experience led Darius to proclaim that the God of Daniel was the one true God, and he passed a new law allowing people to worship Him.
